PlanProof was created by Muhammad Akhtar to make Primavera P6 schedule reviews clearer, faster and easier to challenge. The aim is simple: help planners identify potential schedule-quality issues without hiding the checks behind a black box.
Why PlanProof exists
Planning teams are often asked to review complex schedules under tight deadlines. The result can depend on a spreadsheet, a private checklist or a tool that reports a score without showing how it reached it. PlanProof takes a different approach. It turns defined review rules into practical checks and explains what each result means, so planners can use professional judgement rather than replace it.
The tools are designed to support independent review of Primavera P6 XER files, highlight items worth investigating and produce outputs that are easier to discuss with project teams, clients and reviewers.
Transparent by design
A schedule check is useful only when its basis is clear. PlanProof publishes its methodology, names the rule being tested and distinguishes a diagnostic finding from a final professional conclusion. Where a check has a limitation, that limitation should be visible. Where a rule changes, the change should be documented.
PlanProof does not claim that an automated review can understand every contract, programme strategy or project constraint. The software provides evidence and structure. The planner remains responsible for interpreting the result in context.

PlanProof is built as an independent resource for planners, schedulers, project-controls professionals and teams that need a repeatable first review. The focus is not on producing a perfect score. It is on making schedule conversations more specific: what was checked, what was found and what should be examined next.
About the founder
Muhammad Akhtar created PlanProof from a belief that schedule-review tools should be understandable as well as useful. His goal is to give planning professionals a straightforward way to inspect Primavera P6 schedules, communicate findings and improve review consistency.
